Birthed in October 2005 from a Relief Concert to fund-raise for victims of hurricane Katrina, the ministry has grown under the leadership of Jenny & Jerome Phillips to include the senior choir and an 8 piece band as well as a junior choir for 12 – 18 yo teens.
The unique nature of Urban Praise encompasses members from all walks of life, cultures and Churches across Melbourne, giving Urban Praise a distinctive style of Gospel music.
